📌 Important Notes:

Interoception is the ability to notice and interpret signals from inside the body. People experience and recognize these signals differently, and some sensations may be difficult to identify or describe.

This activity introduces physical feelings vocabulary through a playful matching game. It should not be used to assume that all children experience hunger, thirst, temperature, energy, or other body states in the same way.

These activities can be adapted for neurodivergent children, while respecting individual differences in sensory processing, communication, and interoceptive awareness.

Fast-paced games are not comfortable or accessible for every student. Consider offering a slower pace, cooperative play, visual supports, or alternative ways to indicate a match, such as pointing instead of tapping.

The focus is on learning vocabulary, exploring individual experiences, and practicing game participation in a supportive environment.
